Mounting CD-ROM volumes takes a long time

Files on CD-ROM discs are often organized into hundreds of folders, most of which are nested inside other folders. If you assign explicit access privileges for folders on a CD-ROM disc or for the CD-ROM disc itself, mounting a volume that is on a CD-ROM disc can become very slow.

    To shorten the mounting time:
Set the folders in a volume on a CD-ROM disc to adopt the access privileges from their enclosing folders.
